1. Overview
VinReportify provides instant digital vehicle history reports. Due to the nature of these non-returnable digital products, refunds are limited and granted only under specific circumstances.
We strive for fairness and transparency in all refund decisions.
2. When Refunds Are Granted
We will issue a full refund in the following cases:
- Duplicate Purchase: You were accidentally charged twice for the same VIN/report.
- No Data Available: The requested VIN is valid, but our systems returned no records due to a verifiable technical issue (extremely rare with NMVTIS coverage).
- Technical Failure: The report could not be generated or downloaded due to a fault on our end (e.g., server error preventing PDF delivery).
- Unauthorized Charge: Evidence of fraudulent use of your payment method.
Note: Refunds are not available simply because the report showed undesirable information (e.g., accidents, salvage title). The purpose of the report is to reveal such history.
3. When Refunds Are Not Available
- The report was successfully generated and accessed/downloaded.
- The report contained accurate data you did not expect.
- Change of mind after purchase.
- Requests made more than 48 hours after purchase.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Visit our Contact Page or email support@vinreportify.com.
- Include your full name, email used for purchase, transaction ID (found in your confirmation email), and the VIN.
- Clearly explain the reason for your refund request.
- Submit within 48 hours of purchase.
We review all requests promptly and fairly.
5. Processing & Timeline
Eligible refunds are processed within 5-10 business days and returned to your original payment method. You will receive email confirmation once completed.
6. Bundle Purchases
For multi-report bundles (3 or 5 reports), partial refunds may be issued if one or more reports qualify under the criteria above and have not been used.
